Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.

01
Scope of This Policy
This policy covers 1Source.cpa and any form, download, or subscription reachable from it. It does not cover the client portal, which is governed by your engagement letter and the portal provider’s own terms.
Information you send us inside an active engagement is client information. It is handled under professional confidentiality rules and our engagement terms, which are stricter than this policy.
02
What We Collect
We collect only what a specific interaction requires. There is no tracking pixel network behind this site and no advertising profile built from your visit.
You Give Us
Name, email, phone, company, and whatever you type into a form or Quick Send message.
Automatically
IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page — in aggregate, for site performance.
Files you upload
Documents sent through Quick Send, transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in our document system.
We do not collect
Payment card data on this site, Social Security numbers through web forms, or location beyond city-level IP inference.
03
How We Use It
To answer you, to deliver something you asked for, and to run the site. Nothing else.
Responding
Routing your message to the right practice leader and following up on it.
The Brief
Sending the quarterly Operator’s Brief if you subscribed. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe.
Service delivery
Performing the work described in an engagement letter.
Site operation
Security, uptime, and understanding which pages are useful.
Legal obligation
Meeting professional standards, licensing requirements, and lawful requests.
04
What We Never Do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it for anyone else’s marketing, and we do not build or buy advertising profiles.
We share information only with service providers who operate our systems — email delivery, document storage, our practice management platform — each under contract and only to the extent their function requires. We also disclose information where law, subpoena, or professional standards require it, and we will tell you when we are permitted to.
The site uses essential cookies to function and first-party analytics to count page views. If you decline non-essential cookies, everything on the site still works.
We honor Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals where your browser sends them.
06
Your Rights
Under Florida law and the broader privacy frameworks we follow, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and opt out of any marketing message. We respond within thirty days.
Deletion has one limit worth stating plainly: records we must retain under professional or regulatory rules cannot be deleted on request. We will tell you specifically what is retained and why.
07
How Long We Keep It
Inquiry and form data is kept for two years unless it becomes part of an engagement. Client records are retained for the period professional standards require, generally seven years after an engagement closes. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe.
08
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and subscribers are notified by email. We do not make quiet revisions.
Questions
Privacy questions go to a person, not a ticket queue. Email privacy@1Source.cpa or 813.254.7222 and ask for the compliance contact.
