Acceptance

Using this site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. If you have signed an engagement letter with us, that letter governs the work, the fees, and the professional relationship — and it controls wherever the two documents differ.

02

This Site Is Not Advice

Everything here — practice pages, articles, the Operator’s Brief, every downloadable — is general information. None of it is accounting, tax, audit, valuation, legal, or investment advice, and none of it is written for your situation.

No engagement exists until we have both signed an engagement letter. Sending us a message, subscribing to the Brief, or uploading a document through Quick Send does not create a client relationship, and does not create confidentiality obligations beyond those described in our privacy policy.

03

Do Not Act on It Alone

Tax law, accounting standards, and valuation guidance change, and they apply differently to different facts. Information on this site may be out of date by the time you read it.

Decisions with financial consequences should be made with an advisor who knows your specifics. That is a service, not a web page.

04

Ownership of Content

The 1Source name, wordmark, tagline, and the design, text, and images on this site are owned by 1Source Partners, LLC or used under license.

You May

Read, print, and share pages for your own reference or internal business use, with attribution intact.

You May Not

Republish, resell, or present our content as your own, or use our name or marks to imply endorsement.

You May Not

Scrape, crawl, or extract the site in bulk, or use it to train a model without written permission.

05

What You Send Us

Do not send confidential, privileged, or personally sensitive material through a web form. Quick Send is encrypted in transit, but email and web submissions are not a secure channel for everything — if the material is sensitive, call and we will give you a secure route.

By sending us material you confirm you have the right to send it, and you grant us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for. Unsolicited ideas or proposals are not treated as confidential.

We link out to sources we think are worth reading, including the client portal, which is operated by a third party under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

07

Availability and Liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, and we do not promise either. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent the law allows, 1Source Partners, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits our professional obligations to clients under an engagement letter.

08

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

09

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
